MinInvasive OmniCuff

MinInvasive Ltd. (Magal, Israel) and Sequel Medical (Stamford, CT) engaged Tanaka Kapec Design Group to create the industrial design for OmniCuff, for the US market. This innovative device for rotator cuff repair eliminates the need for suture anchors, enabling a minimally invasive, transosseous fixation of the tendon.

The design of the OmniCuff and its cartridge system prioritized a comfortable, secure grip to minimize surgeon fatigue, clear communication to streamline the process and reduce errors, all within an attractive form factor.
